Moruya High School is the main public high school (secondary school) in Moruya on the far south coast of New South Wales, Australia.
Moruya High School is comprehensive and coeducational. The school is committed to the belief that every student has the capacity to learn and experience success. High expectations are established for attendance, application and performance. As a result students have enjoyed outstanding success across the spectrum of academic, sporting and artistic performance. Participative decision making and planning are key features of school culture. Staff, students and parents work collaboratively to form a genuine learning community which enhances learning outcomes and opportunities in the local context.
The school consists of approximately 750 enrolled students from years 7-12. It is bounded by Albert, Bergalia and Vulcan Streets.
Despite its size and location away from metropolitan centres, Moruya High School has produced impressive results with many HSC (Higher School Certificate) students scoring UAIs well into the 90s.
